Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Schwaben Apps (“we”, “us”) processes information when you use Fairy Fantasy Color on iOS or Android (package/bundle ID: com.schwabenapps.mkz.fantasyColor).

Fairy Fantasy Color is designed for children and families. We aim to collect as little data as possible and to comply with applicable privacy laws, including the EU/UK GDPR, COPPA (U.S.), and similar frameworks.

1. Data controller

Controller: Schwaben Apps
Privacy / support contact: [email protected]

2. Data stored on your device

The following remains on your device and is not uploaded to Schwaben Apps as personal creative content:

  • Coloring and puzzle progress
  • Favorites
  • App settings (for example music on/off)
  • Images you export or share yourself via the device share sheet

No account is required to use Fairy Fantasy Color.

3. Categories of data we process

3.1 Usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)

We process approximate/aggregated app-usage events (for example screen views) to improve the product. We do not ask children for names, photos, or email addresses for analytics.

3.2 Crash diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the app crashes, we may receive technical diagnostics (device model, OS version, stack traces) to fix bugs. These reports are for stability, not to identify a child.

3.3 Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app may show interstitial ads (for example when leaving a finished activity). Ads are not shown during active coloring or puzzle play.

We configure AdMob for child-directed / age-restricted treatment, G-rated ad content, and non-personalized ads where supported by the SDK. Ad partners may still process limited technical/advertising identifiers under their policies and applicable law.

Where required by European privacy rules, we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain or update privacy disclosures before ads load. Because Fairy Fantasy Color is directed to children and families, we treat users as under the age of consent for UMP purposes (consent is not collected from children). Where a privacy-options entry point is required, it is available in the app under Settings → Ad privacy choices.

3.4 Content delivery

The app may download image packs (for example seasonal events) from our CDN. That is app content delivery, not a social feed of user drawings.

3.5 Support communications

If a parent/guardian (or user) emails us or sends feedback via a mail app, we process the message content and the sender email address only to respond. We do not use support mail for marketing to children.

4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR / UK GDPR)

  • Provide and improve the app (analytics, stability) — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)); where required by law, consent / parental consent.
  • Show child-safe ads / fund the free app — primarily to support a free family app with non-personalized, child-directed ads; legitimate interests and/or consent where required by law or platform rules.
  • Answer support requests — legitimate interests and/or steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)).
  • Legal compliance — Art. 6(1)(c) where applicable.

5. Children (COPPA / kids & families)

Fairy Fantasy Color is intended for children and families. Parents/guardians should supervise use.

  • We do not require a child to create an account or provide a name, photo, or email to use core features.
  • We do not offer chat, social networking, public profiles, or location-based features.
  • Ads are configured as child-directed, G-rated, and non-personalized where supported.
  • Analytics and crash tools are used for product improvement/stability, not to build marketing profiles of children.
  • Parents/guardians may contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold (for example a support email), or to ask questions about our practices: [email protected].

If we learn we collected personal information from a child in a way that is inconsistent with this policy or applicable law, we will delete it or otherwise address it as required.

6. Sharing / processors

We use service providers that process technical data on our behalf:

  • Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics)
  • Google AdMob (ads)
  • Cloudflare (content delivery; email routing for support)

We do not sell personal information. We do not share drawings as a public social network.

7. International transfers

Providers may process data in the EU/EEA, UK, United States, or other countries. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers (for example Standard Contractual Clauses) and their compliance programs.

8. Retention

  • On-device data: until you delete the app or clear app data
  • Analytics/crash data: according to Google Firebase retention settings
  • Support emails: only as long as needed to handle your request

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and (where applicable) data portability and withdrawal of consent. EU/EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents: we do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA.

Where Google’s privacy messaging requires it, you can open Settings → Ad privacy choices in the app. You can also review device-level ad/privacy controls from Apple or Google.

10. No automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about children.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
